Christmas is never rote for us either. My husband and I refuse to commercialize it. We do not write Christmas letters either. I have a blog, twitter, and facebook (FB = family and friends only) and so everyone all ready knows what I am doing. This year I wrote a Christmas story, printed it on fine paper, and am mailing them out to family and friends, sharing the message of Christ.
I love hearing stories of mother and daughters enjoying the day together!
