Just finished your book last night-LOVED IT! I bought it because my dream is to go to Italy so I read a lot from people who have been there/lived there. But your book was about so much more than Italy. At age 50 I’ve come to realize that life is not about the stuff we can accumulated. I’d rather grow and have experiences than ‘things’. Your book is truly inspirational. Thank you for sharing your journey. I can’t wait to read more of your blog. BTW, I love the poppies at the top of your site!

Hi Cheri, Thank you for your note! Yes, Halfway to Each Other is about life, marriage and family set upon this fabulous unexpected adventure in Italy. And, like you, I have stopped accumulating and continue to seek life experience in as many varied ways as I can. Fifty is so freeing in that way, isn’t it? I hope you do get to realize your dream and get to Italy soon~
